Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Indian butter Fish (Pabda Mach)--10
  2. White mustard seeds --50gms
  3. Black mustard seeds --50gms
  4. besan --1/2 cup
  5. White flour --1/2 cup
  6. turmeric powder --4 tblspns
  7. salt --4 tblspns
  8. Green chillies(chopped)--5
  9. Red Chillies(sukhno lonka)--5
  10. mustard oil(to cook)


  1. Take 1/2 cup of besan, 1/2 cup of white flour, 4 tblspns of turmeric powder, 4 tblspns of salt and mix the fishes well
  2. Keep aside for 15mints
  3. Add the mustard oil in a pan and heat in a high flame
  4. Take the fishes in it and cook thoroughly till it is red in color
  5. Keep aside the fishes
  6. Take 4 tblspns of oil and give the chopped green chillies into it
  7. Give the white and black mustard seeds and red chillies paste(water of the paste) to it
  8. Add salt
  9. Boil the water(jhol) thoroughly and then add the fishes to it
  10. When it is done turn off the gas. Serve hot. Again pour 1 tblspn of oil over it.
