Apple Pie

Ingredients to make Apple Pie

  • butter 20 gms
  • All wheat flour 50 gms
  • sugar 20 gms
  • egg yolk of 1 egg
  • apple jam 3 tbsp
  • cinnamon powder 1 /4 tsp
  • corn syrup 1tsp
  • apple 1 (sliced thinly)

How to make Apple Pie

  1. Take a bowl and add wheat flour, sugar, eggyolk and grate the butter into it. Mix with light hands. Line a pie dish with this rolled dough. Bake it at 200 degree centigrade for 15 minutes and at 180 degree centigrade for 20 minutes.
  2. In the meantime mix jam with cinnamon powder and melt it slightly.
  3. When the pie is nice golden and crisp, brush the base of pie with the apple jam.
  4. Now line the pie with apple slices. Brush with corn syrup and bake again for 10 minutes at 180 degree centigrade.
  5. Serve with cream/icecream/custard
