Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Country Chicken - 500 gms
  2. Palak Spinach - 200 gms
  3. Onion - 1
  4. Tomato - 1
  5. Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
  6. Chili Powder - 1 tsp
  7. Dhania Powder - 1 ½ tsp
  8. Black Pepper Powder - ½ tsp
  9. Cumin Powder - ½ tsp
  10. Curry Leaves - few
  11. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  12. Water - 1 glass
  13. Oil - as required
  14. Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 tsps of oil in the pressure cooker then add the Chicken and cook for 2 minutes at a medium flame. This is to remove the raw flavor from it and to make the chicken more tender.
  2. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, dhania powder, ginger garlic paste and salt mix all together and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add necessary amount of water to boil the chicken and allow 5 whistles for the chicken to cook well.
  4. Take the cleaned Palak in a mixer jar and make it as a paste. Add little amount of water as it will be already wed and leaves water.
  5. In a pan add little amount of oil then add the chopped onion, curry leaves allow the onion change to golden brown in color then add the tomato and allow it to cook.
  6. Now add the grinded palak paste in to the pan and cook well for about 7 minutes at high flame so that the palak is cooked well and the color of it changes to pale green.
  7. Finally and the cooked chicken, mix everything well and cook at medium flame for about 5 minutes.
