Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 1/2cup milk
  2. 5 -6 kashew
  3. 5-6 almonds
  4. 1/2tsp cardamom powder
  5. 1/2cup condensed milk
  6. 2tsp sugar
  7. 2 tbsp gelatin
  8. water-1/4cup
  9. pista 1/4 cup chopped


  1. Heat milk in a non-stick wok and bring it to boil
  2. Add cardamom powder and mix well
  3. make roughly coarse powder of almond and cashew,
  4. Add powder to the milk and mix well
  5. Boil for 20-30 minutes on low flame or till the milk is reduced
  6. now add Milkmaid and mix well.
  7. Add sugar and mix well.
  8. Boil further till the milk gets reduced.
  9. Side by side heat 1/4 cup water and bring to boil in another pan.
  10. Add gelatin and let it bloom
  11. Add this to the reducing milk and mix well.
  12. Cook for a minute.
  13. Pour the reduced milk mixture into shot glasses or bowl
  14. and refrigerate for 2 hours or till set,
  15. After 2 hours put the basundi bowls in to luke warm water for few seconds
  16. demould in serving plate.
  17. Garnish with chopped pistacho and tutty -frutty
  18. Serve
