ABOUT Suji besan dhokla RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina -1cup
  2. Gramflaur -1/2cup
  3. Curd-1 1/2 cup
  4. Musterd seeds 1teaspoon
  5. Asafoetida- 1 pinc
  6. Curry leaves- 6-7
  7. Oil-1 tablespoons
  8. Fruit salt- 1teaspoon
  9. Ginger green chilly paste-2teaspoon
  10. Green chilly- 4 Chopped
  11. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Take semolina and gramflaur in bowl.
  2. Now add curd and mix well.let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. After 15minuts add ginger green chilly paste, Salt and fruit salt and mix well.
  4. Add some water if required.
  5. Now pour the batter in grease thali and steam for 15minuts.
  6. When its done remove from fire and keep aside for cool.
  7. Now heat oil in a tadka pan.
  8. Add musterd seeds and splutter them.
  9. Now add curry leaves and asafoetida.
  10. Now add chopped green chilly and saute for 1 minute.
  11. Now add 1 1tablespoons of water and pour this tadka over to the dhokla.
  12. Cut into pieces and garnish with coriander leaves.
