ABOUT Stuffed Mushrooms RECIPE

Stuffed mushrooms is a dish prepared using mushrooms as its primary ingredient. Mushrooms marinated in curd, gramflour, breadcrumb and SPICES and the dish is typically baked or broiled. It can be served hot or at room temperature, and is sometimes served cold. The dish can have a meaty texture, and serves as an starter, side dish or snack.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 10nos Large size button mushrooms (peel n remove stem)
  2. For Stuffing:-
  3. 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  4. 2 tablespoons chopped capsicum
  5. 2 tablespoons chopped mushrooms stem
  6. 1 chopped green chili
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  9. A pinch of turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  11. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  12. 1/2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  13. 1 bread slice breadcrumbs
  14. 2 tablespoons grated cheese
  15. For marination:-
  16. 3 tablespoons fresh curd
  17. 1 tablespoon gramflour
  18. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  19. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  20. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  21. 2 pinch turmeric powder
  22. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  23. A pinch turmeric powder
  24. 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  25. 1 teaspoon mango powder
  26. 2 tablespoons + 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  27. 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  28. 2 tablespoons grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil saute onion for minute on high flame. Add capsicum and mushrooms stem n saute for minute on low flame.
  2. Add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder, saute for minute on low flame.
  3. Add coriander leaves, breadcrumbs and grated cheese keep mixing and switch off the flame. Let it cool down.
  4. Add curd, gramflour, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder coriander powder, mango powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and cumin powder. Mix all the ingredients well.
  5. Marinate mushrooms in it for 10minutes. Now feel stuffing in mushrooms n keep aside. Heat 2 tablespoons oil on pan, first cook stuffed side on slow gas low flame for 7minutes. Flip n cook mushrooms for another 10minutes.
  6. Transfer it in plate n garnish grated cheese n coriander leaves.
  7. Transfer it in plate n garnish grated cheese n coriander leaves.
