These chapathi noodles cannot be denied by any kids. Convert your leftover Chapathis to make mouthwatering Chapathi Noodles in a jiffy!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chapathi - 3 (Leftover Chapathis can also be used)
  2. Onion - 1 big or medium sized
  3. Capsicum - 1/2 thinly sliced
  4. Carrot - 1 medium size thinly sliced
  5. Garlic - 4 cloves minced
  6. Spring onion green part - 1 tbsp chopped
  7. Cabbage - 1/4 cup thinly sliced
  8. Soya sauce - 1/2 - 1 tbsp as required
  9. Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp or as required
  10. Salt - As required
  11. Water - To sprinkle
  12. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp or as required
  13. Pepper powder - 1 tsp or as required
  14. Oil - 1 tbsp (Olive oil is preferred)

Instructions

  1. Chop all the vegetables lengthwise (2 inches approx). Note that they should be of thin slices.
  2. Chop the 3 chapathis into thin and lengthy slices (2 inches approx). Then stack them and cut into 4 - 6 pieces, then cut using a clean scissor or knife. (I did it with a scissor as the pieces come out clean and it is also easier.)
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add the onion slices and saute till they turn translucent. Add minced or ground garlic flakes, cabbage and carrot slices. Saute till they are cooked in required consistency and till they turn crunchy. Keep aside.
  4. Add in the chopped capsicum slices and cook till they are semi cooked and crunchy.
  5. Add red chilli powder, salt, pepper powder, soya and tomato sauce. Mix well with vegetables.
  6. Add the chapathi slices now and give a quick stir without breaking these slices. Sprinkle little water now and cook till you reach a good consistency.
  7. Serve it hot for best taste.
