Yummy chocolate cake using pressure cooker

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. sugar 1 cup
  3. Oil 1/2 cup
  4. Eggs 3
  5. Chocolate powder 1 cup
  6. Milk 1/4 cup
  7. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Instant coffee 1/2 teaspoon stirred up with warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, beaten eggs and oil together in a vessel (1)
  2. Take another vessel and put maida, chocolate powder, baking powder and baking soda (2)
  3. Now mix well (1) and (2)
  4. Add milk. Mix them together into a fine batter( not too thick, neither runny)
  5. Now pour instant coffee mixture to the above. Fold the batter really well. Avoid any lump.
  6. Remove the whistle of your cooker. Put a 1/2 cm layer of salt at the bottom of the cooker. Keep a steel table on it( like the one you use to keep hot vessels on the kitchen slab) Pre- heat your pressure cooker for 15 mins. For the first 5 mins place on high flame and next 10 mins on low flame.
  7. Grease an aluminium baking tray. Drizzle maida through out the tray so that the batter does not stick to the base.
  8. Place the tray on the steel table inside the cooker.
  9. Put it on medium flame for first 5-10 mins and next 30 mins on medium flame. Your yummy chocolate cooker cake is ready to serve.
