ABOUT Aloo Kanda Poha RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Poha - 1 1/2 cup(thick)
  2. Onion - 1 medium
  3. Potato - 1 medium
  4. Green chillies - 2
  5. Red chilli - 1
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Salt to taste
  8. For tempering:
  9. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  10. Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
  11. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  12. Oil-2 tbsp
  13. Asfotedia - 1 pinch

Instructions

  1. Chop onion, potatoe and green chillies.
  2. Heat oil in a deep sauce pan
  3. Add the ingredients in tempering
  4. Now add the chillies and curry leaves
  5. Next goes the chopped onions add some salt
  6. Saute till transperant
  7. Now add the potatoes. Saute. Cover and cook till done
  8. Wash Poha 2 to 3 times
  9. Add to the cooked potatoes. Sprinkle required salt. Mix well
  10. Cover and leave for 2 to 3 minutes. This will allow the Poha to fluff.
  11. Open and serve hot. Enjoy your breakfast
