ABOUT Jowar Bajra Rotla/ Roti RECIPE

Staple kutchi Breakfast and easy to make and healthy. Served with homemade butter and garlic chutney and Tea during Winter.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Jowar flour 1/2 cup
  2. Bajra Flour 1/2 Cup
  3. Milk 1/4 cup (warm)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Ghee 1-2Tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl Mix flours and salt.
  2. Add warm Milk gradually and form a soft Dough.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 equal Portions.
  4. Take one ball and roll it with a rolling pin or with hand if you can. (watch the screen shots to see how to roll it with hand)
  5. Heat Tawa and cook cook the roti on one side for 10 seconds and then flip.
  6. Cook this side for 20-30 seconds until you see some brown spots.
  7. Flip and cook on gas range until done. Apply Ghee and serve hot with homemade makhan and/or Garlic chutney
