ABOUT Sprouted wheat salad with feta RECIPE

I used to make this salad with just regular salad vegetables in it like onion, tomato, cucumber , lime juice and chat masala. It tastes awesome too. But this time I wanted to take a different route so I made it in a Greek way.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup of sprouted Wheat ( I soaked overnight in water, then take out the water and put it for sprouting)
  2. 1/2 onion, chopped
  3. 1/2 carrot, chopped
  4. Salt and black pepper to taste
  5. A pinch or two of red pepper flakes
  6. 2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  7. 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cut all your vegetables. Put them in a bowl together, add in the wheat and feta in it. Next, put in the seasonings, oil, vinegar, salt and both peppers.
  2. Keep this bowl aside for 10 minutes to get these flavors to mingle.
  3. Serve it instantly as a quick lunch or a side dish.
