Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. white chickpeas 250 gm
  2. all purpose flour 300 gm
  3. soda bi carb 1/2 tspn
  4. ginger garlic paste 1 tbsn
  5. onion paste 1/2 bawl
  6. tomato purée 1/2 bawl
  7. Chana masala 1 tbsn
  8. pomegranate seeds 1 tbsn
  9. salt to taste
  10. curd 1/2 bawl
  11. sugar 1/2 tbsn
  12. refined oil around half liters
  13. red chilli powder 1/2 tspn
  14. whole black cardamom 2
  15. bay leaf 1

Instructions

  1. 1 soak white chickpeas over night
  2. 2) wash and put in cooker add water salt bay leaf black cardamom a little bit of soda put the lid and cook till 4 whistles
  3. 3) in a big bawl add flour salt sugar soda 3 tspn oil . mix well now make a dough with warm water . cover it let it rest
  4. 4) take our peas from Cooke strain from water
  5. 5) in a separate pan add oil . add onion ginger garlic paste cook it well add tomato purée salt spices and add chick peas . add pomegranate paste and cook for some time add water that we kept aside from boiled chickpeas and put the lid . cook it for 1 whistle.
  6. 6) now make small balls from the dough roll them and deep fry in hot oil
