Ingredients to make Spring Rolls

  • For crepes -
  • all purpose flour 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1/4th cup
  • salt
  • water as needed
  • For stuffing -
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1/4 tsp
  • Worestshire sauce 1 tbsp
  • Boiled Noodles 2 cup
  • onions 1
  • capsicum 1
  • carrot 1
  • cabbage 1/2
  • red chilly sauce 1 tbsp

How to make Spring Rolls

  1. FOR CREPES- IN A BOWL ADD 1 CUP REFINED FLOUR, 1/4 CUP CORNFLOUR AND SALT TO TASTE
  2. ADD WATER
  3. AND MAKE A THIN LUMPFREE BATTER
  4. FOR STUFFING- HEAT 2 TBSP OIL IN A WOK
  5. ADD 1 TSP GARLIC & 1 TSP GINGER. LET IT BROWN
  6. ADD 1/2 ONION 1 CAPSICUM (SLICED)
  7. 1/4 CUP CARROT 1/4 CUP CABBAGE SALT TO TASTE & 1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER
  8. 1 TBSP CHILLY SAUCE 1/4 TSP SOYA SAUCE
  9. ADD 2 CUPS BOILED NOODLES & 1 TBSP VINEGAR
  10. 1 TBSP WORESTSHIRE SAUCE, MIX WELL
  11. WIPE THE PAN WITH A KITCHEN TOWEL DIPPED IN OIL AND WATER DILUTION.
  12. SPREAD THE BATTER WITH A SILICON BRUSH.
  13. LET IT COOK ON SIM FOR 2-3 MINUTES, REMOVE GENTLY.
  14. MAKE ALL CREPES IN SAME WAY. KEEP THEM COVERED WITH A DAMP CLOTH.
  15. PREPARE SPRING ROLLS: TAKE A CREPE. PUT SOME STUFFING IN THE CENTER
  16. ROLL TIGHTLY HALF WAY. APPLY CREPE BATTER AT THE EDGES TO SEAL
  17. NOW TURN BOTH SIDES INWARDS (1 INCH) TO SEAL THE SIDES AND ROLL COMPLETELY.
  18. PREPARE ALL THE ROLLS.
  19. HEAT 4 TBSP OIL IN A NON STICK PAN
  20. SHALLOW FRY THE ROLLS
  21. FLIP THE ROLLS AFTER 2-3 MINUTES
  22. FRY TILL GOLDEN, THEN TAKE OUT ON A TISSUE PAPER
