ABOUT MASALA ROTIS WITH LEFTOVER RICE RECIPE

You can use your leftover rice to make these delicious rotis for breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Leftover rice ... 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour .... 1 cup
  3. Onion ..... 1 finely chopped
  4. Grated carrots .. 1/4 cup (optional)
  5. Cumin seeds or ajwain ... 1/4 tsp
  6. Salt .......... to taste
  7. Ghee or oil .. 1 tbsp (knead with the flour)
  8. Ghee or oil .. for roasting as needed

Instructions

  1. Knead together flour, rice, onions, grated carrots, salt, ghee and cumin or ajwain.
  2. Roll out the rotis and roast them on a tawa spooning a little ghee or oil.
  3. Serve them hot with curd or any sabzi.
