ABOUT Aloo Paratha RECIPE

Aloo paratha is most popular paratha recipe from Punjab or North India. Spicy potato mixture is used as a stuffing for this Indian flat bread.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups wheat flour
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  4. 1 cup water
  5. FOR STUFFING:-
  6. 3 medium size potatoes boiled n well mashed
  7. 1 onion finely chopped ( optional)
  8. 2 green chillies finely chopped
  9. 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
  10. 1/3 teaspoon salt
  11. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  12. Oil or ghee for applying

Instructions

  1. Take mixing bowl add wheat flour and salt, Make soft dough of wheat flour by using water n oil n rest it for 30mins
  2. Mix all stuffing ingredients (Potato, green chilli, onion, coriander leaves, salt n red chili powder) keep aside.
  3. Now take small balls of dough and gently press balls on rolling pin n dust some dry flour on it.
  4. Spread mixture on it n take another ball press roll n cover it on stuffed piece gently roll it.
  5. place it on hot flat pan and cook over on medium flame pour oil n spread it on paratha well.
  6. Do the same things again make all aloo paratha in the same way
  7. Serve with curd, lime pickle n garnish with butter.
