ABOUT IDLI RECIPE

This is an easy recipe to make the healthy and spongy idlis at home to be served with some spicy sambar.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. 1 cups white rice
  2. 1 cup urad dal

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice and urad dal for few hours, preferably over night.
  2. Grind them together to form the batter with required amount of water. Whisk the batter and leave it to ferment. Once the batter has risen enough, pour little into the greased cavities of the idly plate, steam the, for 10 minutes. scoop and serve with some hot sambar.
