Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 tbsp ghee
  2. 2 piece cloves
  3. 1 piece cinnamon
  4. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  7. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1 tbsp crush ginger
  9. 1 tbsp chopped green chilies
  10. 1 tbsp fresh coriander
  11. 3 tbsp boiled chopped potatoes
  12. 3 tbsp boiled green peas
  13. 3 tbsp green bell pepper
  14. 3 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  15. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  16. 1 tsp dry coriander powder
  17. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  18. 1/2 tsp gram masala powder
  19. salt as required
  20. 1 tsp sugar ( optional)
  21. 1 tsp lemon juice
  22. 1 cup boiled rice
  23. 3 tbsp water
  24. 1/4 cup fresh coriander
  25. 3 tbsp cheese
  26. 3 tbsp fresh cream


  1. In a hot pan add ghee and then add cloves, cinnamon stick, mustard seeds and cumin seeds when cumin seeds and mustard seeds begins to crackle add asafoetida and turmeric powder stir it
  2. Add ginger and green chilli and sauté for few seconds add some fresh coriander mix well
  3. Add boiled potatoes, boiled green peas, green bell pepper and chopped tomatoes and mix well
  4. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and gram masala powder stir it
  5. Add salt sugar and lemon juice mix well and add some water cover the pan and cook some times
  6. Add boiled rice and fresh coriander mix well and cook few minutes
  7. Greased the baking dish
  8. First layer of rice
  9. Second layer of cream
  10. Top with shredded cheese
  11. Sprinkle fresh coriander and chopped green chilli
  12. Preheated oven at 250 degrees for 5 minutes
