ABOUT Butter Sauteed Corn/Bhutta RECIPE

A perfect rainy day accompaniment in India. This is a popular one with everyone including the kids. Roast them with butter and eat them with your favourite masalas and some fresh lemon juice squeezed on top. It tastes heavenly. This method of stovetop roasting is a popular one with many of us. Though now a days these are oven roasted and also done in a microwave too. Nothing beats the sauteed corn on stovetop. Butter gives it a perfect crunch and flavour. Happy Sauteeing!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. corn kernels 3-4 cups
  2. salt 1 tbsp
  3. butter 2 tbsp
  4. lemon juice 2-4 tbsp


  1. Heat butter in a non stick pan.
  2. Add corn kernels and saute them on a low heat.
  3. Stir in red chilli powder, salt and lemon juice after it is done.
  4. Chaat masala can also be added if desired.
  5. Dig into them right away.
  6. Eat them hot as soon as they are out from the fire.
