Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour- 1 cup
  2. Gram flour(Besan)- 1/2 cup
  3. Ragi flour- 1/4 cup
  4. Semolina (Rava)- 2 tbsp
  5. Leafy greens( Fenugreek, Spinach and Corriander)- 2 cups
  6. Green peas- 1/4 cup
  7. White sesame seeds- 2 tbsp
  8. Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  10. Corriander powder- 1 tsp
  11. Ginger Chilli paste-2 tsp
  12. Salt- As required
  13. Lemon juice- Of 1/2 medium size
  14. Curd- 2tbsp
  15. Oil- 1 tsp
  16. Water- As required
  17. Baking soda- Pinch (Optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Take three types of flour. Add leafy greens and green peas.
  2. 2. Add all spices, Sesame seeds, salt, lemon and curd.
  3. 3. Mixture will look like this
  4. 4. With little water make dough. Apply oil. Keep it for 1/2 hr covered.
  5. 5. Make logs out of it and put on greased plate.
  6. 6. Steam for 15-20 mins.
  7. 7. For tadka: Heat oil, add mustard seeds. Once they splutter add cumin seeds, asafoetida, white sesame seeds and curry leaves. Pour it on hot muthiyas. Mix.
  8. 8. Garnish with corriander and fresh coconut. Tastes best when served hot. Serve with Green chutney and Tomato Sauce.
