Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Flattened Rice 2 cup
  2. 3 Green chillies
  3. 2 tbsp Raw peanuts
  4. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  5. 10 Curry leaves
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  9. Salt 1.5 tsp
  10. Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  11. Coriander leaves
  12. Oil 3 tbsp


  1. Wash flattend rice in a strainer . Don't wash it much otherwise flattened rice will become mashy
  2. Now add oil in a wok and let it heat. When oil is medium hot then add raw peanuts in it and fry it for 2 minutes then take it out on a plate . Add mustard seeds in remaining oil and let it crackle.
  3. When mustard seeds crackled then add green chillies , chopped onion and curry leaves in it and saute them on medium flame for 2 minutes or until onion become light pink in colour.
  4. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder salt and little water in it . Mix them well and cook them on low flame for 1 minute or until oil starts seperating
  5. Now add flattened rice in it and mix it well with masala. Now switch off the flame and add lemon juice , fried peanuts and coriander leaves in it and mix it well.
  6. Poha is now ready to enjoy :blush:
