Quick to make but very delicious ,creamy suitable for all age groups.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked vermicelli -1 cup
  2. Fresh yogurt - 1 cup
  3. Chopped coriander & curry leaves - few
  4. Chopped onion -1
  5. Oil -2 tsp
  6. Mustard & urad dal- each 1/2 tsp
  7. Asafoetida - pinch
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. For garnishing use black seedless grapes or pomegranate seeds.

Instructions

  1. Boil 3-4 cups of water,add salt and vermicelli, cook till soft and strain it.
  2. When it cools, mix with yogurt,add chopped green chilli and coriander leaves.
  3. Heat oil ,add mustard seeds, urad dal,curry leaves ,when it pops add chopped onion saute till slight pink colour,add asafoetida mix and transfer to the yogurt mix vermicelli.
  4. Serve in a bowl or plate garnish with black grapes or pomegranate seeds.
