ABOUT Thuli (Traditional Breakfast especially for winter season) RECIPE

This is very healthy and traditional breakfast for people of all ages. My Mom used to prepare this for us especially in winter season.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat 2 cups
  2. Sugar or jaggery 1/2 cup or as per your choice
  3. Cardamom powder 1/4 Teaspoon
  4. Milk 2 cups
  5. Pure ghee 4 to 5 Teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Soak 2 cups whole wheat overnight.
  2. In the morning put soaked wheat in a grinder and grind it few minutes.
  3. Take an extract or you can say milk from the wheat.
  4. Pour it in a strainer to get pure extract.
  5. Take a pan and add this to it and then add sugar, milk and ghee in it.
  6. Keep on stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
  7. Serve it hot with ghee.
  8. You can add more milk for consistency of your choice.
