ABOUT Baked Vegetables RECIPE

This dish has goodness of vegetables in a wholewheat white sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 tbsp wholewheat flour
  2. 150 ml milk
  3. 150 ml water
  4. 2 cups assorted veggies
  5. 1tsp dried Italian herb
  6. 1/2 cup cheese
  7. Salt & pepper as per taste

Instructions

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan and head some oil. When hot add veggies and sautr till veggies are caramelized. Keep aside.
  2. Mix together milk, water and flour.
  3. In the same pan heat some butter, add in the milk mix and wisk with a balloon wisk. The mixture will start to thicken. Now add cheese. As it starts melting add in the salt and pepper and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add in your veggies, mix. Transfer it to an oven proof dish. Sprinkle some more cheese on top.
  5. Bake at 220°C for 30 min or until the top turns golden and sizziling.
  6. Serve with garlic bread.
