Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida 250 gms
  2. Fresh Yeast - 1 and 1/2 tea spoons
  3. Sugar-1/2 tea spoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Lukewarm water- to make the dough
  6. Pizza sauce- 2 tablespoons
  7. capsicum- 1 table spoon (finely chopped)
  8. Shredded cheese- 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Preparation-Dough for bread Keep about 2cups of lukewarm water ready. Take a big vessel to knead the dough. First take ¼ cup lukewarm water. Add the sugar, one teaspoon maida and yeast and mix well.
  2. Once all the three blend well, add rest of the maida and salt to it. Use lukewarm water to make smooth, non-sticky dough. Let the dough rest for an hour.
  3. After an hour, it would have risen well. Knead the dough again for about 2-3 minutes. Fold in the cheese, the pizza sauce and capsicum.
  4. On adding these, the dough will get a bit sticky but that’s okay. If it’s too sticky, you may add a teaspoon or two of maida. Transfer the dough to a greased baking dish. Let the dough rest for 15 min.
  5. Cooking Preheat the oven and bake at 200F for 10-12 min. Prick with a thin knife. If it comes out clean, the bread is done. Take out the bread and put it on a rack to cool for about 5 min.
  6. Cut the bread, butter it and serve with hot tea.
