Soya chunks masala dry is an appetizing dish that is packed with nutrients as well as has an Indian tadka to it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 100 grams soya chunks
  2. 1.5 tsp salt
  3. 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. 2 tbsp Oil
  6. 15-18 curry leaves
  7. 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  8. 1/4 cup capsicum, cubes
  9. 1 tsp Salt
  10. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 2 tsp coriander powder
  12. 2 tsp garam masala
  13. 1/4 cup tomato

Instructions

  1. Place the soya chunks in a bowl and fill it up with enough hot water so that the soya chunks are completely immersed. Leave it aside for 20 minutes.
  2. After soaking in water, the soya chunks would appear double in volume. Squeeze all the water from the soya chunks. You can cut soya chunk pieces into smaller ones or use as is.
  3. Marinate soya chunks with red chili powder, ginger garlic paste and salt for 10-20 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in pan/kadai. Add onions, capsicum, curry leaves and sauté it well.
  5. Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Fry it well
  6. Add tomato and sauté until it becomes soft
  7. Add marinated soya chunks and cook it for 15 minutes. garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
