ABOUT Aloo paratha RECIPE

Aloo parathas are the traditional Indian breakfast which are filling and extremely delicious to eat.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  3. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  4. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  5. 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  6. 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  7. 3 green chilly chopped
  8. 2 onion finely chopped
  9. 4 potato boiled and mashed
  10. 1 tsp oil
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. First make a soft dough out of the wheat flour .apply some oil on the flour and keep it aside.
  2. Meanwhile boil potatoes and peel off the skeen and mash fully without any lumps.
  3. Add onions ,spices,curry leaves and coriander leaves with the required salt and mix all the ingredients throughly.
  4. Now take a lemon size ball of the Dough and roll into a diameter of 5 inches.
  5. Take lemon size quantity of the masala mix and place in the centre of the Dough.
  6. Make a round fold so that the mixture is intact inside the Dough.
  7. Now dost with some wet flour and roll it carefully like a chapati taking care that the masala does not come out of the Dough.
  8. Put it on a printed cover and cook till golden brown.
  9. Apply something on both sides while cooking it
  10. Tasty paratha is ready.
