    Pav Bhaji

    Ingredients to make Pav Bhaji

    • butter- as required
    • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
    • 1/4 cup chopped carrots
    • 1 cup boiled green peas
    • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
    • 2 onions finely chopped
    • 2 small capsicum chopped
    • 3 tbsp green chilli-ginger-garlic paste
    • water as required
    • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
    • 3 tbsp pav bhaji masala
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • salt as per taste
    • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/4 cup lemon juice

    How to make Pav Bhaji

    1. Heat butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds and green chillies.
    2. After a minute add the chilli-ginger-garlic paste and carrots.
    3. Saute for a while and then add onions and capsicum.
    4. After sauting for about 2-3 minutes, add turmeric powder, potatoes, tomatoes and peas. Add some water if required.
    5. As the vegetables become tender, add salt, garam masala, pav bhaji masala and red chilli powder. Mix all the ingredients well with a potato masher.
    6. Add lemon juice and mix properly. Serve hot with pav buns.
