This delicious moist cake is made from semolina and leftover ghee residue.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Semolina-1 cup
  2. Ghee residue-1/2 cup
  3. Milk-1 cup
  4. Sugar-3/4 cup
  5. Baking Powder-1/2 tsp
  6. Baking soda-1/4 tsp
  7. Warm water-2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. PREPARE 1 CUP SEMOLINA,1/2 CUP GHEE RESIDUE,3/4 CUP SUGAR,1 CUP MILK,1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER AND 1/4 TSP BAKING SODA.
  2. TAKE 1/2 CUP GHEE RESIDUE AND 1 CUP SEMOLINA IN A BIG BOWL.
  3. ADD 3/4 CUP SUGAR.
  4. MIX EVERYTHING PROPERLY.
  5. ADD MILK LITTLE AT A TIME AND MIX.
  6. OUR CAKE BATTER IS READY.
  7. COVER AND KEEP FOR HALF AN HOUR.
  8. GREASE CAKE TIN.
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER AND 1/4 TSP SODA.ADD ABOUT 2 SPOONS WARM WATER AND MIX.
  10. POUR THE BATTER IN CAKE TIN.
  11. TAP TWICE LIGHTLY.KEEP TO BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES FOR 20 MINUTES.
  12. CAKE IS READY.CHECK WITH KNIFE OR TOOTHPICK IF IT IS DONE.LET IT COOL AND THEN CUT AND SERVE THIS DELICIOUS CAKE.
