Ingredients to make cone chat

  • 2 small carrots
  • 1 onions
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels [boiled]
  • 1Tsp red chilli powder
  • chat masala [add as per personal taste]
  • coriander leaves [handful]
  • for the cones : maida - 1 cup
  • carom seeds [ajwain] - 1/4 th tsp
  • Refined oil
  • salt

How to make cone chat

  1. These are the ingredients used . Chopped onions, grated carrots and boiled corns.
  2. Mix all ingredients and add the powdered masalas, salt. Keep them aside.
  3. Now knead a stuff dough using maida, ajwain, salt, refined oil and water. rest it for 10 minutes. Now roll the dough and cut into strips.
  4. Roll each strip on an steel ice cream or kulfi cone, and deep fry them in hot oil.
  5. Once they are are fried, take them out, remove from the mould, fill in the stuffing. Sprinkle some more chat masala and coriander leaves. serve.
