Murg Kalimirch

Ingredients to make Murg Kalimirch

  • chicken - 1/ 2 kg washed and drained
  • 5 tbsp yogurt to marinate
  • 1- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Black pepper -2- 3 tbsp
  • White pepper -1-2 tbsp
  • Crushed kasori methi - 1 tsp
  • Chopped onions -1 medium sized
  • Chopped ginger - 1 inch size
  • oil for cooking -2- 3 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • 1- 2 chopped green chillies
  • Fresh cream for garnishing

How to make Murg Kalimirch

  1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, black pepper, white pepper, a little oil , then mix it well and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok, then add the chopped ginger, saute and cook it. Then add the onions and saute till it turns pink.
  3. Now add the ginger garlic paste, saute it well then add in the marinated chicken and mix it well together.
  4. Next, add the chopped green chillies and salt to taste. Pour in 1 cup of water and cook the chicken till its done.
  5. Lastly put in the crushed kasoori methi and turn off the stove. Garnish with green chillies, fresh cream and sprinkle black pepper on top.
  6. Enjoy this dish with roomali rotis or paranthas.
