Ingredients to make Set dosa

  • 1cup dosa rice
  • 1/4 cup urad dal
  • 1/4 cup poha/ murmura
  • 1/2 tbs methi dana ( optional)
  • 1/4 ts cooking soda
  • salt to taste

How to make Set dosa

  1. First wash the rice, urad dal, poha and methi.
  2. Soak it for 4-5 hours
  3. Grind into fine paste
  4. Add cooking soda and leave it to ferment
  5. Add salt in the morning after the batter has fermented well.
  6. Heat the tawa and pour a ladle full of Dosa batter , don't disturb the dosa
  7. Cover and cook.
  8. Serve with chutney

My Tip:

The batter should not be too thick nor too runny
