ABOUT Bread pakora filling with green chutney RECIPE

This is a traditional recipe of northern India where in the slice of bread is dipped in the besan batter and deep dried, serve along with some green chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 bread slice
  2. 1/2 tsp oil
  3. 2 pinch bakingsoda
  4. Water as required
  5. Salt as required
  6. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  7. 1 cup besan
  8. 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  9. Oil for frying
  10. Green chutney 1 cup

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, take all the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the wet ingredients, without green chutney.
  3. Make a smooth batter.
  4. Slice the bread slice ,,between 2 slice spread green chutney.
  5. Dip slice in batter.
  6. Fry the bread pakoras on a medium flame. Serve hot with some chutney.
