It's a perfect traditional dilicious item. This dish is my all time favourite.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 big size potatoes, boiled and peeled
  2. Chopped coriander leaves
  3. 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  4. 2 teaspoons kashmiri red chilli powder
  5. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  6. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  7. salt to taste
  8. 1 teaspoon amchur powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoon ajwain seeds
  10. For paratha dough :
  11. 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour/ atta
  12. salt to taste
  13. 1 teaspoon oil/ ghee
  14. water as needed for making dough


  1. Take a bowl and smash the potatoes.
  2. Then add all the masala powders and mix well.
  3. Next make a smooth dough with all the ingredients and rest it about 10 minutes.
  4. Now make small balls and place the prepared stuffing in the center.
  5. Then shape it like chapati or paratha.
  6. Take a tawa and heat it.
  7. Place the paratha on it and shake it both sides. Now add oil or ghee on top of it.
  8. Serve it with pickle.
