Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Idly rice : 2 cup
  2. Urad dal  : 1/2 cup
  3. Poha : ¼ cup
  4. Fenugreek : ½ tsp
  5. Salt
  6. Water
  7. Egg : 1
  8. For stuffing
  9. Onion : 1
  10. Boiled potato : 2
  11. Cumin seeds : ½ tsp
  12. Mustard seeds : ½ tsp
  13. Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
  14. Green peas : 2  tsp
  15. Chilly powder : 1 tsp
  16. Curry leaves
  17. Coriander leaves
  18. Oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse Idly rice,urad dal, poha, fenugreek and soak for 2 hours
  2. Grind rice, urad dal,fenugreek, poha with required water to make a smooth batter for 20 - 30 mins.
  3. Cover and ferment for 8 hours or more if required.
  4. After the fermentation, the batter will become double in size and rise.
  5. Add Salt and required water to the batter and mix well.
  6. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cummin seed, curry leaves, green peas and saute for 1 mins
  7. Add finely chopped onion, salt turmeric powder and salt for 1 min
  8. Add mashed potatoes, required water and cook for 1 min
  9. Add coriander leaves. Now the stuffing is ready
  10. Pour batter in dosa tawa circular manner to get the circle shape of dosa
  11. Pour the egg above the dosa and cook for 1 min
  12. Add little oil on top of the dosa, flip it and cook for 10 seconds
  13. Place spicy potato mixture in the centre of dosa and serve hot
