Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. vaazhai thandu - 1 cup
  2. makka cholam flour - 1 cup
  3. Rice flour - ½ cup
  4. Small onions - 10 nos
  5. Green chillies - 4 nos
  6. cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  7. salt - to taste
  8. oil for making dosas


  1. Mix rice flour, makka cholam flour with 1 cup of water in a blender needed salt and cumin seeds.
  2. Add the chopped plantain stem, small onions and green chillies and blend to a smooth paste and mix with the batter.
  3. It should be of slightly thinner than dosa consisitency.
  4. Heat a dosa tawa and pour a ladle full of batter on the centre of the tawa and spread thinly.
  5. Drizzle a tsp of oil and cook for 2 minutes. Turn over the dosas and cook the other side
  6. Remove from tawa .Healthy instant plantain stem/vaazhai thandu makka cholam dosas are ready to serve Prepare dosas with remaining batter
