This is a traditional breakfast of Punjab, a delicious and filling paratha made with carrots and radish, to be served with some pickle or curd on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 grated raddish
  2. 4 grated carrot
  3. 2 green chillies
  4. Some finely chopped radish leaves.
  5. Salt
  6. 1/4tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1/4tsp red chilli
  8. 2 tbsp grated ginger
  9. 1 bowl dough of wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Grate carrot and radish.
  2. Put salt in them and rest it for 5 minutes.
  3. Now squeeze the mixture in muslin cloth
  4. Add radish leaves
  5. Add green chillies
  6. Add cumin seeds and red chilli.
  7. Add ginger and mix well.
  8. Now fill it in dough ball and flatten it.
  9. Heat tawa and cook both sides till brown.
  10. Serve with curd.
