Ingredients to make Ragi dosa

  • One cup urad daal
  • Four cups ragi flour
  • One cup rava
  • chilli - 2
  • chopped tomatoes - 2
  • oil
  • salt
  • curry leaves - 10
  • coriander leaves [handful]
  • Two cups water
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp

How to make Ragi dosa

  1. Soak urad daal for two hrs. Grind it into fine paste.
  2. Now add four cups of ragi flour in the above urad daal mixture
  3. Let the batter ferment for 8 hrs
  4. Take a pan,add little ghee and heat it
  5. Add one tsp Jeera,finely chopped chilli,curry leaves and tomato . saute for few min..
  6. Now add two cups of water...let it boil
  7. Finally add rava stirring with one hand continuously so that no lumps are formed. .
  8. Add salt & lemon n let it cook for five min..upma is ready to serve
  9. You can make Ragi Dosa by adding little salt in the above fermented batter..
  10. Top the dosa with upma & butter, coriander leaves.

My Tip:

U can top the ragi dosa with potato curry ya pav bhaji curry also....
