Veg Sandwich

Ingredients to make Veg Sandwich

  • 4 bread slices
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup corn frozen
  • 1 carrot, finely cho
  • 1/2 capcicum finely chopped
  • 1 tsp crushed pepper
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp butter

How to make Veg Sandwich

  1. In a pan heat oil and fry onions.
  2. Further add corns, carrot and capcicum. Fry for a minute till the veggies are half cooked yet crunchy.
  3. Now add chopped pepper, mixed herbs and salt. Give a good mix.
  4. Now take 2 breads and on one spread tomato sauce and green chutney on the other.
  5. Grate the cheese over the stuffing.
  6. Cover with the other slice of bread and grill or toast on tawa.
  7. Spread butter on both the outer sides of bread to make sandwich more crispy and golden.
  8. Now cut the bread into triangle.
  9. Serve hot or pack for kids lunch box.

My Tip:

You can skip the cheese and use cream cheese for more flavours.
