ABOUT Kulche Chane. RECIPE

Kulcha chana is a famous recipe of Punjab, so i am sharing the traditional recipe of the chana to be served with the kulchas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup soaked and boiled chickpeas
  2. 2 chopped onion
  3. 2 chopped tomatoes
  4. 2 green chillies
  5. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  6. Salt
  7. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 1/4 tsp red chilli
  9. 1 tbsp chana masala
  10. Coriander leaves [handful]
  11. Oil
  12. 8 kulchas [store bought]

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan
  2. Add cumin seeds
  3. Add chopped onion
  4. Saute and add ginger garlic paste.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes
  6. Cook well
  7. Add salt & all masalas
  8. Cook it.
  9. Add chana , its water and boil for 5 to 8 minutes.
  10. when almost done, add green chilli
  11. Add coriander leaves
  12. Heat tawa put butter.
  13. Heat Kulchas on it
  14. Serve with chana, chutney and salad.
