Ingredients to make Frankie

  • For frankie masala :
  • red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  • Roasted jeera [cumin] powder - 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  • amchur powder - 3 tbsp
  • Haldi [turmeric powder] - 1 tsp
  • Black salt - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • For dough :
  • maida - 1 cup
  • wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  • oil - 2 tbsp
  • butter [as required]
  • For stuffing :
  • onion [sliced] - 1
  • cabbage [sliced] - 1 cup
  • carrot [sliced] - 1/2 cup
  • capsicum - 1 [sliced]
  • 100 gm paneer
  • 1 tsp ginger chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp soya sauce
  • salt

How to make Frankie

  1. ADD RED CHILLI PWDR, CUMIN PWDR AND JEERA PWDR.
  2. MIX SALT , GARAM MASALA AND MIX WELL TO MAKE FRANKIE MASALA.
  3. TAKE MAIDA, WHEAT FLOUR, OIL, SALT AND BUTTER TO MAKE DOUGH.
  4. KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 10 MIN.
  5. TAKE BUTTER IN A PAN. NOW ADD GREEN CHILLI PASTE, GARLIC PASTE AND ONIONS.
  6. SAUTE IT TILL TURN PINK.
  7. ADD GRATED CABBAGE, CARROT AND CAPSICUM.
  8. ADD TOMATO SAUCE, SOYA SAUCE, SALT AND FRANKIE MASALA.
  9. ADD PANEER, CORIANDER LEAVES AND TOSS WELL.
  10. MAKE SMALL BALLS AND MAKE ROTI.
  11. SPRINKLE FRANKIE MASALA.
  12. PUT THE STUFFING ON THE ROTI.
