Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For crust - 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1/4 cup semolina
  3. 1 tsp carrom seeds
  4. 2 tbsp oil / clarified butter for moyan
  5. salt as per taste
  6. For stuffing- boiled green peas 1 cup
  7. 3- 4 green chillies
  8. 1 small piece of ginger
  9. Mango powder 1 tsp
  10. Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  11. black pepper powder 1 tsp
  12. Black salt as per taste
  13. oil for cooking and frying


  1. First for kachori crust ;in a big bowl take all purpose flour And semolina . Now add Oil/ clarified butter , salt and carrom seeds . Mix all ingredients well and make crumbly texture . Now add water and make soft dough. Cover this dough with muslin cloth and keep it aside.
  2. Now for stuffing - in a grinder , take boiled peas and grind it corasly along with ginger and green chillies .
  3. Now in a pan take 2 tsp oil , then add roasted cumin powder ,mango powder , black pepper powder and black salt as per taste . Then add grinded peas and cook it for about 3-4 minutes. Stuffing is ready .
  4. Now take crust dough and make lemon size balls with it .
  5. Take a ball and Roll this ball with roller pin and put stuffing on center .
  6. Close all sides and make a pocket .
  7. Press this pocket with fingers gently and make small disc . Repeat this process with remaining dough .
  8. In a kadai take oil ,when oil is getting medium hot ; fry these kachori on slow flame .
  9. Green peas kachori are ready . Serve hot with green chutney .
