ABOUT Easy Mysore Masal Dosa RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dosa Ingredients:-
  2. Raw rice - 1/2 cup
  3. boiled rice - 1/2cup
  4. urad dal - 1/4 cup
  5. fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
  6. salt - to taste
  7. Oil - 2 tbsp
  8. For Masala :-
  9. potatoes - 1/4 kg
  10. onion big - 1
  11. oil - 1 tbsp
  12. mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  13. turmeric powder - 2 pinch
  14. chopped green chilli - 3
  15. curry leaves - 2 arc,chopped coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
  16. ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice,urad dal, fenugreek and soak for 4 hours.
  2. Grind it, adding water into a fine batter. Add salt, mix well, keep aside for fermentation 12 hours.
  3. For potato masala:-Boil potatoes, peel and cut into small pieces.
  4. Heat oil,add mustard,when it pops,add curry leaves,green chilli,onion,turmeric and saute well.
  5. Add boiled potatoes,salt to taste.Cook till done.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Potato Masal ready.
  6. Heat dosa tawa,spread little oil, whip with onion or tissue paper, sprinkle little water, when hot spread batter into a round shape.Cook in medium flame.
  7. When dosa cooked, spread coconut or red chutney, then put potato masal,fold or roll it.
  8. Ready. Serve with sambar and coconut chutney.
