Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup semolina
  2. 1/2 cup vermicilli
  3. onion 2 chopped
  4. carrot 1 small chopped
  5. cauliflower 4-5 florets cut into small pieces
  6. peas 1/2 cup
  7. beans 5-6 chopped
  8. tomato 1 big sliced
  9. green chilli 2 chopped
  10. mustard seeds
  11. curry leaves
  12. coriander leaves
  13. salt
  14. sugar
  15. oil 4 tbsp
  16. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. dry roast the vermicili till golden brown and add semolina...roast for a min
  2. in a pan heat oil..splutter mustard seeds
  3. add onion and saute for 1 min
  4. add chopped carrot,beans,cauliflower,salt ,turmeric powder and cook it covered for 2 min
  5. add tomatoes,curry leaves,green chilli and cook again for 2 min
  6. add 3 cups of water and sugar
  7. add roasted vermicili and semolina and cook it covered in low flame for 2 min
  8. finally add coriander leaves and mix well
  9. serve hot with sambar
