Ghavne is traditional breakfast from Maharashtra,it takes very less time and is made out of less ingredients generally in morning we have lots of work and we want our family to give healthy too,Ghavne can be served with green chutneys,coconut chutneys ketchup

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2cups rice flour
  2. 1/2 cup fine semolina
  3. salt to taste
  4. water to make batter
  5. for green chutney
  6. corriander leaves 1 bunch
  7. greenchilli 2-3
  8. salt to taste
  9. pinch of sugar
  10. 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  11. handful of peanuts

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl take rice flour
  2. mix semolina
  3. add salt
  4. add water and make batter
  5. batter should be like dosa consistency
  6. place nonstick tawa on flame
  7. pour 1 full laddle batter
  8. spread with spoon
  9. it will be thicker than dosa
  10. add 2-3 drops of ghee or butter
  11. cover for minute or two
  12. flip and cook from other side too
  13. serve with chutney
  14. green chutney-----
  15. add washed corriander leaves to mixer grinder
  16. add greenchilli
  17. add salt to taste
  18. add sugar and lemon juice
  19. add peanuts
  20. grind it to fine paste
  21. serve Ghavne with chutney
