ABOUT Broccoli Puri RECIPE

In this recipe I have used wheat flour, Broccoli puree, curd and crushed cumin. These puris taste awesome and goes well with any curry or even hot tea. Healthy and nutritious good for everyone.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat Flour – 1 cup
  2. Broccoli puree – 1/4 cup
  3. Crushed Jeera – ½ tbsp.
  4. Thick curd – 1tbsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil – ½ tbsp.+ 2cups for frying
  7. Water- 1-2 tbsp. as or if required for kneading

Instructions

  1. Wash, blanch and blend broccoli florets into smooth paste.
  2. In a bowl take wheat flour, salt, oil, crushed jira, curd and Broccoli paste. Mix well.
  3. Add water only if required and knead it into a stiff dough.
  4. Cover and keep aside for 20-30 minutes.
  5. In a wok, heat oil.
  6. Take small portion of dough and make a ball.
  7. Grease rolling board with little oil.
  8. Place a ball and Roll evenly from all the sides. It should be little thick.
  9. Fry Puris on medium low flame from all the sides till golden brown and fluffy.
  10. Serve hot with Potato curry or bhaji or Chole.
