ABOUT Soft Dinner Rolls RECIPE

Super soft dinner rolls best enjoyed with hot soup in winters. Great for kid's tiffin too. Cut them open and slather some butter add your favourite filling.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  2. ½ teaspoon salt
  3. 2 ¼ teaspoon instant dry yeast
  4. ½ cup warm milk
  5. ¼ cup warm water
  6. 2 tablespoons sugar
  7. 2 tablespoons butter


  1. Whisk together flour, yeast and salt.
  2. Combine water, milk and butter.
  3. Add to flour mix and knead for 6 to 8 minutes till you get a soft elastic dough.
  4. Cover and keep for 15 minutes. Knead again for 5 minutes. The dough should be supple and smooth.
  5. Grease one 8 inch round cake pan. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  6. Divide dough into 12 equal size balls. Arrange in the pan. Cover and leave it to rise for 1 hour or until double.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or till the rolls turn golden.
  8. Remove from the pan and brush the tops with butter.

I used the same method. But inside is hard. Where am I making mistake
