Masala khichdi is a healthy for us which is very good for health and increase our growh. It has many nutrients and healthy. Khichdi is very good for digestion and easy to digest.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup chilke wali green dal
  2. 1 cup rice
  3. 2 tomato chopped
  4. 1 onion chopped
  5. Coriender leaves
  6. 1 cup chopped mix vegetables( potato peas cabbage carrot
  7. 2 tbs ghee
  8. 1 tsp Garlic paste
  9. 1 tsp red chilli pwr
  10. 1/4 haldi
  11. 1 tsp garam masala
  12. 1/2 tsp black salt
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Dry red chilli1
  15. 2 piece cloves cinnamon
  16. 1 tsp cumin seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a cooker once its hot add cumin seeds cinnamon cloves dry chilli .
  2. After few seconds add onions, tomato and all the spices. add regular salt as per taste.
  3. Cook this till the tomatoes turn soft, add rice and dal .
  4. Add all the veg. add water and mix it well. Pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
  5. Add water as required. Cover the pan let the khichdi simmer for 5 mins Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
