ABOUT Paneer Fajitas with Lettuce RECIPE

A healthy replacement of tortillas with lettuce, perfect for a weekend breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2-3 Big Sized Lettuce Leaves
  2. I cup Paneer, cut into strips (Milk Cheese)
  3. 1 cup colored bell peppers, cut into strips
  4. 1/2 cup onion, cut into long strips
  5. 1 tsp Tomato Ketchup
  6. 1 tsp Tobasco Sauce
  7. 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  8. 1 tsp Pepper
  9. 1 tsp Honey
  10. Salt and Pepper to taste
  11. Oil for sauteing
  12. Lemon Wedge

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add onions, bell peppers and cook well until crisp.
  2. Add the Paneer Strips and saute well until you get a golden brown color for the paneer.
  3. Add the spices and ketchup mentioned above and mix well, until veggies and paneer are coated
  4. Add salt to taste and mix well
  5. Cook till all the moisture is absorbed and make sure mixture is crisp in texture
  6. Take a lettuce leaf on a plate and serve the mixture on top.
  7. Sprinkle cheese, add sour cream and roll like a wrap.
  8. Sprinkle lemon juice and garnish with a lemon wedge.
