About Pesto Pasta Recipe

Italian pasta served with a creamy pesto sauce made from basil and pine nuts.

Pesto Pasta

Ingredients to make Pesto Pasta

  • 350g Linguine Pasta
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Pine Nuts
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

How to make Pesto Pasta

  1. Cook pasta in a pot with boiling salted water with 1 tbsp of olive oil until tender.Drain the pasta and keep aside.
  2. Grind basil, pine nuts, garlic and parmesan until almost smooth to make the pesto.
  3. Add oil and process to combine well.
  4. Pour the pesto into the pasta and toss to combine
  5. Serve with sprinkled parmesan cheese.
