Mushrooms are a good source of iron.Mushrooms are very effective in preventing breast and prostate cancer due to the presens of Beta Glucans and conjugated Linoleic Acid, which both have anti-carcinogenic effects.Mushrooms are an ideal low-energy diet for diabetics. Mushrooms are a rich source of calcium, which is an essential nutrient in the formation and strength of bones. The good combination of vitamins A, vitamin B-Complex and vitamin C that is found in them also strengthens the immune system.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Button Mushroom : 4
  2. Oil : 1 tsp
  3. Salt
  4. Small Onion : 3
  5. Tomato : small piece
  6. Grated Garlic : 2
  7. Pepper powder : 1/2 tsp
  8. Cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
  10. Soya sauce : 1/4 tsp
  11. Corn flour : 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add finely chopped, button mushroom, small onion, garlic, tomato and saute for 3 - 5 min over medium flame
  2. Add salt, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin seeds and saute for 1 min
  3. Add 2 cups of water and cook for 5 min
  4. In a bowl add corn flour, 1/4 cup water and mix well
  5. Add soya sauce and corn flour water and keep stirring for 1 min and switch off the flame
